The Important People In Amanda's Life

Amanda considers herself to be an extrovert with introvert tendencies. She loves to engage with others, spend time outdoors, and live life to the fullest; however, she will never turn down a nice night inside watching a movie or baking cookies. One of Amanda's favorite passtimes is spending time with the significant people in her life including:

Her family

Amanda is an only child. Both of her parents work full-time jobs, so she has learned to be very independent. She has always been a dog person and especially has a soft spot for golden retreivers. With no siblings, her cousins have been like a younger brother and sister to her.

  1. Her mother and father: Lily and Michael
  2. Her late doggo: Sean
  3. Her cousins: Timothy and Sydney

Her friends

Amanda's friends mean the world to her. Since she has been at UCSB, she has met so many people from different backgrounds and upbringings. Those who became her close friends have been her motivation, her inspiration, and her support throughout her four years.

Speaking of my staff, at the beginning of the year, we had to create a Roll Call video introducing our staff. We were inspired by the movie "Get Out." Here is the link to the video!! Enjoy its cringy-ness :/

Her boyfriend

Amanda and her boyfriend, Matt, met last year when they were both Resident Assistants (RAs) for San Nicolas Hall. They are both returning RAs this year, but in different buildings. They love to binge watch Netflix, make late night spontaneous trips to McDonalds, grab shakes from Habit, get competitive in Mario Kart, and even suffer through study nights together.
